Almost seven years ago, I co-founded Nuxt with my brother Sébastien.
We embarked on a journey that was nothing short of remarkable. Our modest idea blossomed into a community that shared our vision for a more intuitive web.
But life is an endless journey of growth. The call for a new adventure led me to Directus, a place that shares my love for open source and the dream of democratizing data.
It's not just the technical allure but the heart behind Directus that resonated with me.
Directus isn’t just a new workplace, it’s a new community and team with a mission that echoes the same principles Sébastien and I upheld at Nuxt. The emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and the genuine intent to make data accessible for all, drew me in.
As I step into the role of Director of Engineering, the shared vision of not just creating robust tools but fostering a culture of sharing and growth is inspiring.
Ben Haynes and Rijk van Zanten have showcased not just technical prowess but a warmth and understanding of the community-driven ethos. Their vision aligns with what I hold dear.
